It’s important to prioritize the task at hand. Some days you may have a lot of work. You have to choose the task based on its importance.
Finishing the important and big tasks at first can give us a lot of time for other simpler and easier tasks to complete. There is a book called Eat That Frog by Brian Tracy, where he describes how and why you need to complete the bigger and annoying task at first. This will open up a different view for you.
But sometimes, based on value you need to prioritise the work. Because, at the end of the value is what you can provide out of your work.
