Reading Paperbacks

By Prajwal Haniya

A few months ago I bought a tab (Samsung Galaxy A9). I could have bought the Kindle but as Kindle won’t allow you to read articles on the web I dropped the idea of buying it. I do have several e-books on my Tab, but I still like paperbacks.

Yesterday I ordered a few books. I want to avoid screen time as much as possible. There is so much content online, you can never finish reading, so the quality of what you read matters a lot. One downside of reading online blogs is the links. Blogs have several other blogs linked, so you keep on clicking them in a loop. Having too much redirection is definitely not a good idea. Focus on one thing for a longer period of time.

The ability to work on one thing for a longer period of time will be increased if you keep working on one thing with focus. So, reading a physical copy of a book will force you to pay attention for a longer period of time. Do spend time researching what books you need to read. Millions of books are in the market, and more are getting added every single day. You can’t read all of them. So research is important.
