When you do something that you really like, you won’t be aware of the time. You just get involved in it. But, in technology, you need to be aware of the time that you are spending time on because some tools may be good but may completely obsolete if nobody is using that.
I have attended a few companies that visit my college’s placement cell. But, most of them conduct interviews virtually, and a majority of the companies show a great interest in competitive coding and they don’t actually care about projects that you do. So, they may be just choosing people who are good at cp and leaving the rest of them aside. This is definitely not the right thing to do. That’s the reality. If you are good at developing applications then building your own product may be a good idea. That is what I am feeling right now. Of course, developing your own product is not that easy, but I guess it will be worth it.
I am looking at product development in the field of blockchain. One thing is damn clear that this technology is going to change many things around the world. I am learning a little bit about it every day.
