When someone reads your article it should be useful to them.

First few sentences matter a lot.

Trigger curiosity.

Adding difficult words in a sentence may make the reader ignore your article. The words you write must be simple and understandable to most audience.

Passive writing is harder to read.

Cluttered writing demands more brain power. So write in a more clear manner.Something that is easy to read gets read.

• the day you identify as a runner — running becomes easy
• the day you identify as a healthy eater — it becomes easy to eat well
• the day you identify as a writer — it becomes easy to publish what you produce

The competition for attention is very high. So make sure to package the benefit first.

Audience don’t have time to read through the entire article to know what value are they getting out of it. So show them the benefit they get by reading your article first, it may be directly in the article.

Don’t expect the world to be with you always. Most of the time it’s against you. You will find people who will stop you from doing what you want. You will find people who will hurt you with limited amount of perspective and understading about you. If you have everything while you grow up, you will have a lot lesser empathy and understanding of the real struggle to get to somewhere.

As I am writing a book, the draft has nearly come to an end. My next work is to perform edits and improve the actual content. It took me nearly 3 to 4 months on just completing the draft. Working on edits from tomorrow.

Have you built something that is useful and can save a lot of others time, money and stress? Then technically that product should work. The amount of value your software gives should be the factor for decision making and not the other factors. Unfortunately, there are other factors too. Like to whom you are offering your product, are they able to pay you and other economic factors. But, I believe the “value” factor must be the ultimate decision-maker.

Often it is necessary to consider what job did you hire? rather than to what job you were hired?

Introspecting the work that you are doing will change the decisions that you make on regular basis. This will definitely align towards zero regrets.

“The pen is mightier than the sword” The text has the power to change things at scale. I have tried making video/audio content, but the text has appealed to me more than any of them. The books that you read will influence you and in turn your decisions. Yesterday it was really frustrating. My personal laptop got messed up. I was not able to access the GUI but was able to access the terminal. Somehow, after trying different solutions for nearly 2 hours it got fixed.

I reinstalled Debian’s desktop environment via Tasksel. Finally, it worked.
